About Anna and how Edenpowerment came about
My name is Anna Ritamäki-Sjöstrand (the first surname comes from my father and the second from my husband). I happened to be born in Sweden, daughter of two Finnish citizens, and have spent most of my life in Finland Proper, with Kimito, a coastal island with a majority Swedish-speaking population as my home base. For many years now I live with my husband and daughter in the Åland Islands, an autonomous Swedish-language region within Finland, an archipelago with tight connections to Sweden.
I have my energetic understanding from Donna Eden's Certification Program and Teacher training, from inspiring teachers, clients and students ... and from living life and feeling the difference. My professional background is in public international law, local and agricultural journalism and legislative drafting for the Government of the Åland Islands. Now I work part-time for another section of the public service.
During the years I have spent some longer periods outside Finand (close to a year or more) in Östersund, Sweden; Castlemaine, Australia; Sheffield, England and Brussels, Belgium. At 16 years old I started learning the international language Esperanto, which brought me to many other countries for conferences, festivals, even Scout camps and gatherings with friends.
Lately I have travelled very little - if I don't count all the interaction over the internet - so with Edenpowerment I want to expand my horizons and share the exploration of Energy Medicine with other energetically curious people all over the world.
Self-testing energy patterns
I am on a mission to bring the power of self-testing to energetically curious and logically minded individuals all over the world.

I will be teaching a 2-session workshop on Self-testing Energy Patterns over Zoom. In the first session we explore the principles of energy testing and experiment with testing Polarity, Crossover and Centeredness, do the balancing exercises for these patterns and assess. Then you'll have some time for experimenting at home before we meet again to review and to dive into testing meridians. If you are interested, please, reach out. I only need 3 students to form a group. Price will be 55 euros.
A deep dive into sedating and strengthening meridians using paired elemental points
I have been playing with the idea of teaching the system of sedating and strengthening points for a long time. If you are really interested, just contact me, and you might be able to influence the timing.
Experience actually holding the acupressure points together, be guided on location, how to hold the points on yourself with (relative) comfort, how firmly to hold and for how long. And experience the shift in the energetic health of your meridian and share what you felt (or didn't feel) with others.
Understand how the choice of points based on pushing, pulling and containing flow between the five elements.
Simplify finding the points by learning all 10 elemental junction points (every hold pairs a junction point on the assisting element with a point on the targeted meridian).
The course will consist of 90 minute workshops over Zoom:
1) the 10 junction points on Yin meridians and balancing Kidney meridian
2) the 10 Yang junction points and balancing Stomach meridian
3) revision and the special cases Heart and Triple Warmer meridians.
Every session will present how the points connect within the Five Elements system, so the whole picture can come to life step by step. Home practice between the sessions is essential for benefiting fully from the experience.
In my second class of the Eden Energy Medicine Certification Program In Malmö, Sweden. I had aquainted myself with the Alarm points (I would be more exact about their placement now). We use the points for energy testing Meridians. The Five Elements chart (the logic behind the sedation and strenthening points) is in the background.
I offer Eden Energy Medicine sessions in person, mainly in Mariehamn, the Åland Islands, where I live AND over Zoom.
The online sessions are guided self-care sessions, where I guide self-testing, self-balancing and encourage continued individualized daily practice. I recommend a series of at least three sessions for building new energetic habits. I series of sessions enables follow up testing and conclusions on what patterns benefit most from balancing. Most clients lose motivation for consistent self-care without follow-up.
At the moment I offer 75-minute sessions for 95 euros or a package of three sessions for 240 euros. I recommend weekly sessions or even more frequent sessions to not lose momentum.
